Hello and welcome!
Today we claim Joshua 1:3 over Natrona County. Wherever we set foot we will be on land God has given us. God this is Your land, so we claim it for Your good, Your gain and Your glory. May You elevate, expand and reinforce the credibility of Your church in this county so that more people can come to know You and become more like You.
*Mark 10:43-45 and 1 Tim 1:12:
“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”” Mark 10:43-45 NLT
“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do his work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him,” 1 Timothy 1:12 NLT
May we lean in on the full of grace leadership principles of Jesus Christ.
Join me in praying for Wyoming. Father in heaven, Holy is Your name. May Your will be done.
Lord, there are days, for whatever reason, as leaders we may ask “why?” Lord there are days we may feel as if we are at the end of our ‘leadership rope’. Or maybe Lord we can feel the human in those who lead over us. Lord the frustration peaks and what makes us all human is revealed. The frustration becomes present in leadership. It becomes present in the decisions. It’s made aware through our tone, our actions. It’s available in our lack of cooperation with others. Opportunity for opposition abounds.
Father give us a hope in leadership. Show us Your promise through those You have appointed as leaders. Encourage us to rise above. Remind us to take heart for You have overcome the world. Teach us how to replace frustration with determination. May we see a prior generations grit by rolling up our sleeves and see the task through. May we celebrate a finished work in Your name! Praise You Lord for spiritual gifts!
Father, prevent us from taking that first step away from leadership – frustration.
The time for change has come. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
