County 19 – Uinta County

Lord – Great is Your name! Unimaginable is Your splendor! Thank You for even the slightest glimpse of it! Truly, You are who You say You are. We walk this earth in which You’ve created! We are blessed with life!

We pray to You Lord. We ask for You to intercede on behalf of all those in Wyoming who are single parents.

Lord comfort those within their day to day challenges and struggles. I know from Your Word that one of the ways You do this is through community.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4:9-12‬ ‭NIV‬

Grant them access to an old friend to find a sense of security. Place in their life a new friend to inspire hope. May we be a unified body seeking Your will.

“Stand firm, and you will win life.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:19‬ ‭NIV‬

May we all find strength in the stability of Your instruction O’Lord! May that stability lead to a community thriving in You! May we see even just a glimpse of heaven within our communities.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John‬ ‭14:27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Lord as You know – no one wants to feel all alone. May the local church be the institution that says; “you are not alone”. May single parents discover a sense of belonging. May single parents who are thriving in a church community be connected to those who feel isolated and alone.

The time for change has come. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
