County 20 – Washakie County

On this, the 20th day of our prayer Lord, we pray for those employed in retail and sales.

You are God. We are not. May we see the holiness that fills Your name. There is a majestic presence that follows the mention of Your name. Even those that don’t believe are aware of Your name.

Thank you Lord for the incredible instruction You give. Thank you for the unimaginable amount of patience You freely give. Your grace can be overwhelming at times. Thank you for correcting us inspite of ourselves.

We lift up to You all retail employees and those in sales. The ones that come in early and stay late. The ones that reach beyond their comfort zone. The ones that need a second job just to make ends meet. The ones that are required to fulfill a quota. These are the ones Lord!

“Live in harmony with each other….” Romans‬ ‭12:16‬a NLT‬‬

Harmony. Are You seeing the kind of harmony that is in this verse? Lord, it’s easy to choose harmony when it’s convenient, but do we actually live in it? Guide us Lord! Even those yet to believe.

If we have to choose harmony, then we’re not quite there yet. To live in harmony is to be natural, without thought. It flows as the clock ticks. Guide us to a divine harmony. Lord You are the harmonious rhythm within us!

Often we get confused on whose harmony. Public settings become a quagmire of opinion. But You Lord! You can sift through all that. As we interact in our day to day lives, may we live with the in-dwelling of Your Spirit. Use harmony to display Your glory! All for You Lord! THEN! those who have yet to believe will ask – why is it different here, there’s something unique about (this) place? May we proclaim all Glory to You!

May we all seek Your will first. Very few occupations have as many interactions as this. Whether we are stocking shelves or pursuing bargains, may we seek You above all else. Then everything that’s needed will come easily. I believe You Lord!

The time for change has come. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
