The expectation of the world is to be against anyone who opposes us. The world has trained us to get what we “deserve” and to give “them” what we’ve justified. Who deserves what? Who decides? We are no better than the attitude we push on others.
Let us not be quick to dump burning coals. In (time) You have a way of revealing. Burning coals are gonna dump when burning coals are gonna dump. And when they dump on another, who will be? How will we look on them?
“Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.”” Romans 12:20 NLT
As the burning coals were once dumped on our heads, we began to see what our actions had caused. You begin the work of restoring Your identity for us, to us. May Your grace be extended.
““O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name!”1 Chronicles 29:13 NLT
Let us be the one that is always willing to reach our hand out, and wise enough to pause when You say to. May we be ready to this even when it confuses those around us.
To conquer evil we must begin with the evil within ourselves. We must tackle the challenges we present on the inside. Each time we act in peace, we tear away at the wrongs we hold inside. New life is found in grace. Thank You Lord for grace! May we learn to see others through their trials and conquer evil by doing good!
The time for change has come. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
