County 4 – Sweetwater County

As we seek the Lord, may we pray as one with a servant’s heart for the residents of Sweetwater County. May we all be connected in a relationship with the Christ Jesus.

Lord we pray for You to unleash a movement of Your people, armed with compassion and poised to infuse the Gospel into the community around us. Lord may You expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of Your church. Use the I Heart Wyoming Initiative to fulfill Your will.

This month in our purposeful prayer, we include all the elected officials of this county.

“I gave an account of my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees. Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds. My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭119:26-28‬ ‭NIV‬

Father in heaven, we seek You! Sustain us O Sovereign Lord! A day comes in a leaders life when they are spent. Complacency rules over conviction. Give our human brains the exact amount of desire required of Your will. Guide our leaders in Wyoming through the demand of public opinion. Let them not copy the customs and behaviors of this world, but choose to show their knowledge and understanding of You through their efforts. May their efforts lead to actions that cause people to see You O Great Lord!

Give our leaders a conviction worthy of a pursuit in Your name. Inspire them with Your good deeds. Diminish the affects of any enemies who seek to block them, for it is in vein attempts to block a work You are doing. Nothing can stop what You have willed. You ARE The Lord! and You ARE GREAT! We need to see a group of leaders standing in bold Faith of who You are! We are ready to see man succeed because of You and celebrate in You! All glory to You – our Lord!

May the actions of our elected officials send a positive ripple through their communities. May we look at this ripple and know it’s You and then point to You! You are Lord – we are not!

May we seek to be the change our environment requires. In Jesus name we pray, amen
