Our beautiful God! Our amazing God! What is this relationship with You? What is it that we do to deserve this gift? The gift of knowing truth by You.
Truth is, there is nothing we can do to deserve it. You are God, we are not. Yet You continue to seek an intimate relationship with each of us!
May Your name be praised! From the highest peaks in the west, to the plains in the east! Platte County cradles this very spot! The threshold of our highest mountains to our vast plains! May echoes of praise billow throughout our beautiful state!
Lord we lift up all the communities in Platte County sharing Your Good News! After we reflect in the light of condemnation let us rejoice in the pause and then pursue the life that comes after! May others around us be soaked in the grace (that comes from Him) by the truth in our actions.
“And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.” Ephesians 1:13-14 NLT
We want more and more to walk in truth. Increase our desire to hear and understand Your truth. It’s Your truth that dictates the correct direction of our speech. It fills the air around us with Your light. Amplify our language with the promise of Your grace.
Once we’re saved, we find a correct truth to drive us through our day. “What was true yesterday, is no longer true today”. [True] has a new meaning. It’s the meaning that makes sense and fits perfectly into place. We’re not trying to fit our version of truth into a perverse reality. Like a piano in tune, we hear it correctly.
The time for the real truth has come. May we see You Lord as the foundation of our truth. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
