County 4 – Sweetwater County

Seeds of change have been planted and growth comes with time. Let us live to be ready, for the harvest is near. Let us stand in the fragrance of the forest, and be a pleasing aroma to Him!

“Don’t overlook the obvious here, friends. With God, one day is as good as a thousand years, a thousand years as a day. God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change.” 2 Peter‬ ‭3:8-9‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Will we be steadfast? Will we look to the horizon of time with resolve? We will stand as confident as the mighty oak?

Give us the roots Lord, to weather the storms of life. Feed us for times of drought. Fill our branches with Your life filling rays.

Lord, build us up from within, just as You do through the seed. As we observe trees grow with the seasons, we look on with anticipation. We look with curiosity of when will the fruit come, not if, but when. We enjoy the tree as it changes through seasons.

We have no issue understanding that time will carry a tree through growth, so why are we so about <now> with our brothers and sisters, Your children? If we’re going to trust You, then let’s trust You. In the meantime let us live to be our best representation of You we can. Let us grow into a community as does the forest.

We pray for the 22,901 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. May they find a church that’s been expanded, elevated and reinforced by the credibility You have placed in the local church.

The season for us to allow His seed to grow has come, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
