I stand here rooted in Your Word. As I look to my brother and to my sister, I can see – they too are rooted. Many storms will pass through us and in-between us, yet our roots anchor our souls to You. What power You have Lord!
You hold us with something that goes beyond a physical power. By human standards we call them words; but Your words do more than teach us, they glue us to You. They do more than heal us, they bond us to others. They do more than inspire us, they elevate our ideals to new understanding.
“But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God’s unfailing love. I will praise you forever, O God, for what you have done. I will trust in your good name in the presence of your faithful people.” Psalms 52:8-9 NLT
I find peace in You! Some days Lord – I don’t know where my roots end and Your hand begins. Everything becomes so intertwined. It’s a grip beyond my reasoning! Then to begin to realize that that connection goes beyond You and me!? What?!
I see the peace they have found in You! That intertwined knotty root has branches that You shoot off to others rooted in You!
We thrive in Your House Lord! Our roots allow us to forever trust in You! Your unfailing love grips our roots, it connects us together, it ensures Your presence!
May Your presence grab the tender roots of the newly seeded saplings. May Your unfailing love increase our trust in each other AND YES! You Lord! We trust You! We trust in the power of Your Word! We trust in Your will for all mankind! Praise be to the Lord!
