County 9 – Big Horn County

My Lord…

Your Holy Spirit in me opens up my eyes in wonder. What used to be ordinary and familiar has now become extraordinary and profound! Before when I would stand in nature, a river was pretty in its own right. But now, standing in Your Creation – a river is more than just a mixture of hydrogen, oxygen and sediment from snow melt! A river becomes a metaphor! A river begins to speak scripture into my heart! I can see the impact a river has on its surroundings. The acts of the literal universe personify Your Word!

Lord, I am not alone. I can see this through the countless acts of others. Some I know personally, some I don’t. But we all carry the same current that flows through us. Your Holy Spirit guides the flow of our church, just as it does for so many others.

A church living in active worship is a church with impact. As the river navigates it’s way through the land it literally changes the face of the surroundings it flows through.

At first sight, I can’t ignore the raw power of the river as it makes its mark on the landscape.

As we allow Your Holy Spirit to flow through us as individuals, our actions will change because our motives change. As a confluence of individuals, we become one flow. Your church Lord, changes the land it flows through. Lord – increase the flow, increase the Church.

We give all praise to our Creator, the Risen King!

Lord, we thank You for all the wonderful counties of Wyoming! Our state is filled with amazing people! Every county is filled with good hardworking people! We pray for the 5,921 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. May our Lord expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.

As the river flows, so the time has come for us to let the current carry us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
