County 16 – Johnson County

Lord, I am but one person. What could I possibly do to serve those beyond me? Why me? Now that Your changing me, what does it matter? Sure, it matters to my house. It might matter to my colleagues.

But it goes beyond that – doesn’t it? It matters in Your House!

“so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.” Romans‬ ‭12:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

A body is not complete without a heart and blood. A car is pointless without an engine. A train is nothing without its tracks. What’s the point of a piano without notes to play? A sailboat is but only a trophy, without the wind. What good is an artist without canvas and paint?

I can tell now that deep within its current are life nourishing properties, it’s what drives the flow of each river’s identity.

When we surrender to the will of God as individuals, His character becomes increasingly evident in the body. The more that come to salvation the more Your character becomes evident to those around. We pray for more salvation so that Your character increases on this earth. We believe You Lord Jesus! Let us live to praise Your glorious name!

Lord we pray for the wonderful people of Johnson County. May their days be filled with joy. When sorrow comes around, may they find comfort through the peace and fellowship in Your Word. We pray for safety in our everyday lives.

We pray for the 4,784 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. Continue to pour Your blessings on the people of Summit Church in Buffalo. May God continue to expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.

As the river flows, so the time has come for us to let the current carry us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
