County 19 – Uinta County

Chains of this world will hold us back from reaching the Fathers will for each of us. Lord, I can’t fully reach you, until every chain is broken. With every chain that holds me to this world gets broken, I get that much closer to You. The more chains broken, the closer I get. But I can’t be set free until Your truth purifies me.

“But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:16-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Lord, I think we get to a point in our life when we need a reset, level the playing field so to speak. We lose sight of truth. Somehow a twisted distorted view of truth roots down in our mind and that’s what we believe.

After years of studying Your Word, I can now hear You speak to me through the events of my past. I can see Your teachings through the experiences of my parents. By vocation, my dad was a carpenter and one of the things he taught me was – “son, water will always finds its own level.”

Water knows the truth and goes to the truth. It levels things. Lord Jesus! Pour out Your Living Water! In Your truths we are purified!

I’m renewed in the flow of the river’s identity, I watch it as it works it’s way through the world to find its own level as water knows how to do. Nothing else in life can cleanse like truth can.

Lord Jesus, all I can say is; “I love You. Thank You for being our God. Thank You for being the way You are. Thank You for setting things right. Thank You for the current that washes away our veils. Thank You for providing sanctification.

May I live to praise You! May I live to experience others praising You!

We thank You for the people of Uinta County! May they find the answers they seek in Your Gospel. May Your Gospel become the flood waters of the region.

We pray for the at least 8,303 people in this county who have yet to be rooted in new growth through a gospel church. May our Lord expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.

As the river flows, so the time has come for us to let the current carry us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
