It was a day that left an indelible mark. My pastor held my shoulders in his arms. And Lord, years of sovereignty led us to that point in time – and then he asked me; “…do you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?”
My mind instantly became submerged in every moment of truth I had experienced in You. In Your blessings, I saw my wife and children. In Your grace, I saw my healing. In Your mercy, I saw a better me. In Your sacrifice, I saw my humility. In Your love, I saw my hope. In the shedding of Your Blood, I saw me cleansed. In Your light, I saw a world I could’ve never imagined! And in Your ascension, I saw my eternity. Praise You Lord! Praise You!
As my eyes flooded, I answered; every day. Yes Lord – every day.
So I rise up, see the truths that are all around me, and then life begins to surge through my skin!
“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was.” Romans 6:4-5 NLT
…and I am only one of an untold number of others. How many more Lord could there be? May the church not sit idle! May salvation come to all in Wyoming through Jesus Christ. Flood us with the presence of the Holy Spirit! May You be the current in a river that brings life to the untold number!
Our Father in Heaven, we thank You for the people of Washakie County. May the nourishment in Your Word flow into every heart. May new life be found in the banks of Your river. May safety be found in the current of Your Holy Spirit.
We pray for the 4,507 people in this county who have yet to connect into a gospel church. May our Lord expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.
As the river flows, so the time has come for us to let the current carry us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
