For all who read and partner in this monthly routine of prayer… thank you. Truly I say, thank you. May we continue to be unified in our pursuit to ask our Lord to intercede on behalf of our amazing state. By His Word we are told “the faith of a mustard seed” is what one needs, I’ll ask the question, what would the world see from an entire state full of mustard seeds?
There are too many who have yet to come to know the Lord (truly know Him) and too many that the enemy has pulled away. We pray for those people! We pray for those who know those people! Our Lord, may Your Spirit fill us! Thank You Lord for Your endless pursuit of every soul! May we learn how to partner and serve Your will!
In our prayers we seek Your intercession of our loved ones, or those we know. But aren’t we all connected Lord? As we pray let us see beyond our own communities Lord.
Lord, what is the most dominating thought in our minds day in and day out? What is it that occupies our mind the most? Reasonably speaking, we wake up with positive thoughts and ready to take on the day. But as the day draws on, the thing that holds our mind and emotion captive is revealed at the first sign of worldly routine.
“If we had forgotten the name of our God or spread our hands in prayer to foreign gods, God would surely have known it, for he knows the secrets of every heart.” Psalms 44:20-21 NLT
Lord, remove our minds from worldly thinking. Take our pursuits out of trivial things and set them in something that is worth the sacrifice You gave to all mankind on the cross!
Stop our society from being a mass of sheep blindly following the sheep out in front just because they are “in front”. We tend to group ourselves in flocks that match the comfort levels in our minds. Then we go ahead and follow the crowd.
But Lord, You have revealed Yourself as the Good Shepherd, have You not? Use the sheep in the crowds to start a “new” reason to follow something else, cause them to break off and follow You and cause others to follow suit. You are our Good Shepherd!
Lord we pray for New Life Assembly of God and Whitewater Christian Church in Laramie. We pray for the gospel to flow near the 23,227 people in Albany County who have yet to connect into a church. May our Lord expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.
The time to stop following the behaviors of the world have come, the time to live a new life has come! We pray in the name of Christ Jesus! Amen.
