Circumstances, situations, moments, events, or whatever we want to label it; they are all opportunities to glorify You! They are all opportunities to grow us. They are all victories for You yet to reveal! They are the beginning of a wiser and a future prepared us.
Praise You Lord for what You do on the inside of us. We give You thanks for the blessings found in and after – deep waters, steep climbs or dark valleys.
Every moment that we “feel” is against us becomes a force of resistance. But by leaning on Your strength, we can push through.
“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.” Psalms 23:4 NLT
Walking is motion going forward Lord. It’s not idle. It’s action. It requires effort from “me”. Moving against that resistance will strengthen us. It will build and strengthen our resolve.
When we place our focus on a given circumstance before we place it on You, we are at risk of placing the influence of the circumstance as an idol over our decision making. But by placing You, in Your elevated throne over the circumstance, we keep ourselves inside the current of Your will.
What then do we have to fear? Your closeness creates an influence that cannot be mistaken or ignored. Your light, Your providence, Your teaching… when shared in the body, becomes a navigating influence.
I love You Lord. We are so blessed to have a Lord such as You. Thank You for being interested in what we think about and do.
We pray for our people in Teton County and throughout Wyoming. May the blessings found in Your light shine it’s rays upon us all.
We pray for the 15,750 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. We pray for everyone connected through Ridgelife Church in Jackson Wyoming. May they find peace in Christ Jesus. May our Lord expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in Teton County.
The time to stop following the behaviors of the world have come, the time to live a new life has come! We pray in the name of Christ Jesus! Amen.
