Heavenly Father, we thank You for the people of Johnson County. Thank You for the impact through Summit Church in Buffalo. May Your blessings fall upon the pastors and staff in their obedience to You. May You continue to bless the region through this ministry. May people continue to hear of the Good News You have in store for us.
We pray with the people in their trials. We celebrate with them in the victory they find in You! May new ears find the stories being told about the goodness that flows from You!
Lord let us (the believing community) not underestimate the power of our voice, but let us not over-speak the will of God. The will of God is enough to define itself. Let us merely seek to be the humble and serving feet that delivers a message.
“But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”” Romans 10:14-15 NLT
Everyone who calls upon Your name will be saved. But how can they call upon You if they don’t know to call upon You?
Awaken the voice of the believing. Raise the voice to an effective audible level, soften the harshness of its voice to a whisper where needed.
Put Your message in our feet. May our feet of action speak Your voice. May Your voice be seen in the action of our feet.
Lord we give You all praise! We thank You for the changing power in the Good News! May more and more come to out their trust in You!
We pray for the 4,784 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. Continue to pour Your blessings on the people of Summit Church in Buffalo. May God continue to expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.
The time for our conversations about church to increase has come. It’s in the name of the Christ Jesus that we pray. Amen.
