In August we will look at how our Lord cares for us. Have you ever had to care for another? How about a few or several? Let us use prayer as our eyes to see how the Lord cares for us. Let us put the definition of “care” in the perspective of the Savior of the world.
Definition of care:
– the provision of what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance, and protection of someone or something.
– serious attention or consideration applied to doing something correctly or to avoid damage or risk.
– feel concern or interest; attach importance to something
– look after and provide for the needs of
We’ve all seen and participated in examples of this. Let us consider the profound truth of this found in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His care to and for us will be found in the community who has a relationship with Jesus. We pray county by county for the people in our beautiful state. Through each county, for each county, with each county. Because a we are connected as one body through the blood of Christ.
Father in Heaven,
All praise to You! You are a generous and giving God! Your provision for us is unending. Your glory is revealed in the act of giving. When one gives it shows they care, and when a community gives freely it opens up the world to seeing the true beauty in Your glory.
We love You Jesus! Let us live to show it. Let us put Your character into our caring for one another. Let us put our trust in You!
Lord we are blessed in Your care. In a community wrapped in Your care, we will have everything we need! Praise You Lord for this amazing gift and blessing found in Your care as an act through a community.
“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT
Your Spirit in us will define what it is we need. Your Spirit in the community will seek out the needs of those who are in and adjacent to it.
Your care for us teaches us to let go of what we don’t need, and share abundantly what we all need.
And what we truly need is You! When we care for Your brothers and sisters, we are showing our care for You! And You in return provide the care for us back to us through Your community.
Your care for us is manifested through us. Praise You for the blessings found in Your way!
Thank You for the people of Natrona County. We pray for Your abundant blessings to pour over them. Put Your care directly into the leaders, grandparents, moms, dads, guardians, uncles, aunts, sisters, brothers, elderly, and children of this community.
Lord we pray with people of Natrona County! We pray the Good News You bring finds its way into every mind! We pray for the 47,670 people in Natrona County who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. May they continue to find truth in churches like, Casper Faith and Restoration Church. May our Lord expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church.
The time to see “care” has come. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
