County 16 – Johnson County

Our Lord, our King!

We cherish the supremacy of Your reign! You are truly our King! The earth and moon are but specks in Your palm. You hold the stars and twirl them in Your sovereignty. The cosmos obeys!

Yet, Your hand, filled with love, embraces a soul! Your grip is strong with purpose and gentle in care! You are truly our God!

All praise to the Christ Jesus!

In the throws of life we fill the pitch and yaw. Our souls are caught in the turbulence. But You say – “don’t be afraid”

“Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?”” Matthew‬ ‭14:28-31‬ ‭NLT

The courage we need Lord is at our disposal. All we have to do is trust and believe.

Life will happen. Whether we want it to or not. But how we see the Risen King can change how we see. ‬

Jesus, You are Lord! ‬

Today we pray with, and for the people of Wyoming through Johnson County. We pray for the 4,784 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. Continue to pour Your blessings on the people of Summit Church in Buffalo. May God continue to expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.

In every season, may the Lord reign in our hearts. Amen.
