Our Creator, our Savior!
You are creative. You faithful. You are good! You are our amazing Lord, set upon the reaches of heaven! You are the glory forever and ever! You reign supreme!
Thank You for this gift we have in You! We are blessed beyond anything we deserve! You are forever worthy of our praise! May the entire world come to know and see You!
Let us no longer look with the eyes of flesh, but rather the eyes of our eternal spirit! Let us look with the eyes of faith, knowing the fullness of who You are and what You came to do!
May the name of the Lord Jesus be praised!
Today we pray with, and for the people of Wyoming through Campbell County. We pray for the 29,893 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. We pray for all who are connected with New Life Church and First Assembly in Gillette, May this community feel the presence of the Lord through their actions. May God continue to expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.
You have so many amazing things in store for us! Teach us to stop relying on the eyes of our physical birth.
“There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
“What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”
Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”
“How are these things possible?” Nicodemus asked.
Jesus replied, “You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things? I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony. But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things? No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.” John 3:1-15 NLT
Lord, too many times we rely on the physical knowledge of our bodies. This creates a challenge when the time comes for us to stretch our knowledge to the level of belief. Wanting is not the same as knowing.
Our eyes see blue in the sky because of the physical training and experience we’ve participated in on this earth. But to see You requires us to see with eternal eyes.
Give us those eyes Lord! Increase this sight more and more. May all of Wyoming see the glory that You are! May all of Wyoming see the salvation the rests at Your hand!
Born in You gives us eternal life!
The time of discovering our birth in You has begun. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
