We come to the Holy One! Sanctify us O Lord!
To the God of Heaven! You left Your Throne to find us and cleanse us! Thank You Lord Jesus! You are Holy, we are blessed in Your presence! We are created new by Your hand, it’s Your action that saves us!
It’s to You we pray! For our beautiful Wyoming, for her people, for our hope in Christ, we pray. We trust You with our life, the very essence of our being! Our life is so much more in You! Praise the name of Jesus Christ! Forever and ever!
Today we pray with, and for the people of Wyoming through Converse County. We pray for the 9,963 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. We pray with those at Douglas Assembly of God, may the blessings of the Lord fill their actions. May God continue to expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.
We seek wisdom of Your grace. We seek wisdom of Your truth. We seek Your will when entering either posture.
Grace and truth. Two sides of one coin. The discretion to use either is left to us. Freedom in You allows us to make this choice. At times it may be one or the other, other times it may be both.
We seek Your will Lord, we seek to be like You as best as man can.
“Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd. “Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?” They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust. When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” “No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”” John 8:1-12 NLT
One situation. One coin, two sides. With one – grace enters, with the other – truth is applied. To one – forgiveness comes, to the other – accountability. One receives grace, another receives truth.
But Lord, under the surface we can see more. Both received grace, and both received truth. You are Grace and Truth!
My Lord Jesus, You are the center of everything. You are the gate to which all things pass. You are the lens through which we see. My Lord, My God, we are nothing without You!
I bow in worship and surrender! I stand in praise and rejoice! Victory is found in the Lord Jesus Christ! Forever and ever!
Jesus is the Most Awesomeest ever!
Lord! We give all praise to You! Thank You for all the wonderful blessings in You!
The time to see His truth has come, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
