We come to You with one voice! Lord hear our prayer!
You are Supreme! You set all things right. You hold all good together. You are the true power in authority. Your Kingdom extends beyond our physical view, it extends beyond the view of our soul, Your Kingdom is eternal.
We give You all praise Lord Jesus. Thank You for being what we need. May our life continually reflect that.
Lord, everyone needs a shoulder, a shoulder to lean on, a shoulder to cry on. Your body is full of these people. There is something special about how your body functions. Each part is purposeful in meaning and adaptable when dynamic use is required. It’s our surrender to You that grants this sight.
“I want you to know how glad I am that it’s me sitting here in this jail and not you. There’s a lot of suffering to be entered into in this world—the kind of suffering Christ takes on. I welcome the chance to take my share in the church’s part of that suffering. When I became a servant in this church, I experienced this suffering as a sheer gift, God’s way of helping me serve you, laying out the whole truth.” Colossians 1:24-25 MSG
We come to You O’ Lord. All parts functioning as one. In You we enter into a completeness like we’ve never experienced before.
But a shoulder has many uses in Your body. Thank you for the design of the human body, as it helps us have a visual understanding of how Your body can be used. With the required wisdom, a shoulder can also be used on offense, not just as a defensive tactic. Sometimes to bust through spiritual walls, we need spiritual shoulders.
So in the strength of the Lord, in the wisdom of His teaching, use Your “shoulders” to lean into the situation and bust through.
We praise You Lord!
Today we pray with, and for the people of Wyoming through Carbon County. Let us pray for the 10,170 people in Carbon County who have yet to connect with a gospel church. We pray for the people connected in the body through, Platte Valley Lutheran Church, Trinity Assembly of God and of River of Grace Bible Church (Snake River Community Church) in Baggs. May Your Living Water flow through every community. May our Lord expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.
The time to be connected as one has come, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
