We come to You Lord! We seek You! We need You!
Lord in Heaven! King of Heavens Armies! Your reign is supreme. Wether we acknowledge this fact or not, does not change its truth! You are Lord!
Our Lord, we trust Your presence in our lives. We know by having Your presence in our lives, Your presence will come into direct contact with those who have yet to come to know the simple yet profound truth of Your presence. By remaining in You, they come to experience Your presence by proxy.
Fill us with You Lord!
Lord, I can’t help but think of an amazing word. A word that is so simple, but beautifully displays connection. Harmony. This word has a very deep meaning. I love the origin of it. From the Greeks it comes joint, as in the connecting of bone to bone. From Latin it means joining (to join), or concord (an agreement between people).
I can’t help but see and feel Your presence in the root meanings. I would’ve lived to been present when the Greek or Latin communities were forging the environment of these root contexts.
“and they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For he holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.” Colossians 2:19 NLT
Passages like this come alive when we see it in our connections to You and each other. A harmony, an agreement, that we as one belong to You and each other.
Grow us Lord! Grow us into a healthy body.
Today we pray with, and for the people of Wyoming through Big Horn County. Lord we pray for a I Heart Wyoming partner. We pray for the 5,921 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. May our Lord expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.
The time to be connected as one has come, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
