God in Heaven, our Lord Jesus,
We come before You. We offer our hearts in surrender to You! Please listen to our prayers, hear us O Lord. We begin with acknowledgement. You are Lord, through You everything has been created. You provide with mercy and love. You know what we need before we even knew we needed it. You have conquered death!
We give You praise O Mighty God! We sing to You! We sing about You! We sing for You!
In every victory, in every trial, You are there with a guiding hand. Thank You Lord for steering us even when we don’t want to be steered! You are a caring God, You come to our rescue despite our sometimes sour behavior. Praise You! Thank You! Where would we be without You?!
Lord, we have spent this month praying about the body of Christ. You have not only heard this written prayer, You have heard the prayer of any who have read it and prayed their point of view of what’s written. Praise You Lord! Thank You for the Holy Spirit who can refine a multitude into one prayer that speaks to Your will! You are truth, and for that we are eternally grateful!
What happens Lord when a nation of people’s come from exile to erupt in harmony to worship You as Creator and God and Lord and Savior and our One True Hope!
Squabbles get forgotten. Lines get erased. Disagreements become fuel for cooperation. Family’s work side by side. Temples get built. And You get glorified!
“In early autumn, when the Israelites had settled in their towns, all the people assembled in Jerusalem with a unified purpose.
When the builders completed the foundation of the Lord’s Temple, the priests put on their robes and took their places to blow their trumpets. And the Levites, descendants of Asaph, clashed their cymbals to praise the Lord, just as King David had prescribed. With praise and thanks, they sang this song to the Lord: “He is so good! His faithful love for Israel endures forever!” Then all the people gave a great shout, praising the Lord because the foundation of the Lord’s Temple had been laid. But many of the older priests, Levites, and other leaders who had seen the first Temple wept aloud when they saw the new Temple’s foundation. The others, however, were shouting for joy. The joyful shouting and weeping mingled together in a loud noise that could be heard far in the distance.” Ezra 3:1, 10-13 NLT
When the body of Christ comes alive, the territory changes, new things are done, love fills our hearts, people are cared for, people have reason to celebrate! Being connected does more for us than we could ever know. Your body of believing will restore what was lost, seek what needs to be found, and accomplish amazing things in Your name!
And we do it to glorify the One in whom we have salvation!
Thank You Jesus! For EVERYTHING!
Thank You for our sisters and brothers. Thank You for our neighbors. Thank You being the reason we should all be connected.
We praise the name of Jesus!
Today we pray with, and for the people of Wyoming through Sublette County. Lord, thank You for the people of Sublette County. May Your blessings shine upon them. We pray for the 6,841 people who have yet to connect into a gospel church in this county. We pray with those connected through Wilderness Church! May our Lord expand, elevate and reinforce the credibility of the local church in this county.
The time to be connected as one has come, in Jesus name we pray, amen.
